FERIENHAUS FÜR 8 PERSONEN
La Ferme Balayres
The name Sivas occurs already on old maps of the region. Probably the Domaine has been in usage by farmers for centuries. One of the relics of this rich past is the Farm: La Ferme. La Ferme is the heart of the Domaine and is built in a Provence Style. The Ferme used to house the farmers family and its cattle in the stables. Now it is a country house providing sleeping space up to 8 persons.
La Ferme is also usable in the winter. The Kitchen and the Bed Rooms are centrally heated. Currently there is no heating in the Hall.
Living room
On the same floor as the kitchen, La Ferme offers a very large (6,4 x 12,7 meter) meeting and recreation space. The hall is an ideal place to sit in the evening and talk or read in the sitting corner. Kids have ample space to play. The Hall is very convenient on a raining occasion and on the warmest moments of the day.
Kitchen
As La Ferme is the heart of the Domaine, the kitchen is the heart of La Ferme. The large (4,3 x 6,1 meter) styleful kitchen with a large eating table is the main meeting place which is used for more than eating alone. Everything is available to create a good meal: a large oven with five heating points, a hood, a large refrigerator with separate freezer, all necessary kitchen utensils, a coffee machine and two dressers with kitchen sinks.
Bathroom
In Les Balayres is a large, modern bathroom. There are two showers, two toilets and a washing basin. This bathroom is accessed through an outside door.
There is also a small bathroom with a washing basin in the main house.

Outside
Around La Ferme is ample space with privacy. There are various tables, which also provide shade in the afternoon. In the spring the seating is comfortable with flowering cherry and almond trees. In the summer it is a delightful place to have dinner outside with a magnificent view.
Next to La Ferme is a secluded, with stone walls, garden with picnic table and bench. The old vine against the rough stones of La Ferme provide a romantic atmosphere. It is an ideal spot to sun or play.
The large doors of the Hall open to a terrace behind La Ferme. This terrace is surrounded by a grass patch surrounded by lavender. It is an ideal place to get away from the group or to drink coffee in the evening sun.
The Domaine de Sivas covers some 70 hectares and can be used for a stroll. There is much to discover: wood paths, animal tracks (rabbit, fox, deer, wild boar), surprising views, wood birds and you might even encounter the shepherd with its flock.
